Membrapor was started 1995 to develop and realize new products based on innovative ideas.


Our lab is focused on development of gas diffusion electrodes and electrochemical gas sensors.


Within the first years we have succeeded in developing an unique process, based on new perspectives, for the manufacture of catalytic gas diffusion electrodes, which in turn has given rise to several new products in the field of electrochemical sensors.


The process allows the very precise production of not alone those relatively simple gas diffusion electrodes with a catalyst coating on a PTFE carrier, but also of those more complex electrodes encompassing several catalyst/
electrode layers. Sintering ensures that a particularly good stability is achieved. This process is distinguished for its dependability and high productivity.


We produce a wide range of toxic gas sensors in growing quantities. Starting in Europe, in the last few years we acquired important key customers all over the world. Today Membrapor sensors are used in various applications and from USA till China they are known for their high quality and dependability.
