2006年，開發投產具有自主知識產權的全系列醫用清洗消毒機，標志著公司產品門類由原有單一醫用低溫領域向醫療感染控制領域擴展，并逐漸由“專業溫度服務商”向“醫療器械成套供應商”擴展。

2007年，我們開發制造的低溫冰箱及感控系列產品已經廣泛應用于血液及藥品儲存、生物工程、醫學研究、醫療臨床、衛生防疫、農業、畜牧業等領域。包括國內三大著名高校北大、清華、復旦在內的百余家高等院校，以及中國人民解放軍總醫院301醫院、協和醫院、北京佑安醫院等500多家三甲醫院和北京紅十字血液中心在內500多家血站，還包括中科院微生物所、遺傳發育所、植物基因國家重點實驗室為代表的眾多科研機構均在使用著海爾低溫冰箱所提供的服務。

同時，在國家重大項目招標中，海爾業績卓著。-86℃超低溫冰箱在衛生部人禽流感防控項目招標中屢屢中標，中標率近80%；衛生部援助印度洋海嘯項目,血液冰箱產品由海爾獨家提供；衛生部公共衛生專項資金艾滋病防治項目，海爾獨家中標……。

一直以來，我們在科研開發方面，組建了以低溫制冷專家、衛生防疫專家、醫療專家為顧問，以博士為牽頭人，擁有數十名在醫療低溫開發方面具有豐厚經驗的高素質專業設計人員的龐大開發隊伍。其低溫、超低溫技術的研究和應用在國內外同類研究及技術中處于國際領先水平，并在低溫、超低溫冰箱系列產品的關鍵技術研究方面擁有多項專利，“單壓縮機復疊制冷技術在醫用低溫保存箱上的應用”、“醫用低溫操作臺”、“密封與智能控制技術在-86℃超低溫保存箱中的應用”、“雙溫控雙重保護技術在血液冷藏上的應用”、“重力熱管技術在半導體冰箱上的應用”、“短信控制技術在-86℃超低溫保存箱中的應用”等多項技術通過專家科技成果鑒定，達到國際領先水平。2003年海爾“超低溫技術的研究及其在醫用、科研設備方面的應用”獲得了山東省科技進步三等獎；2006年海爾集團“超低溫制冷技術的研究與應用”獲得山東省“泰山學者”崗位；2006年海爾“血站冷鏈設備系列化產品的研制”獲得青島市科學技術進步獎；2006年海爾“熱管技術的研究及其在半導體冰箱上的應用”獲得山東省科技進步二等獎；2006年，國家發改委針對海爾取得的成績，投資專項資金1000萬元支持海爾發展超低溫冰箱高新技術項目。海爾主持起草的中國第一個《低溫保存箱》國家標準（GB/T20154-2006）于2006年11月1日由國家標準化管理委員會正式頒布實施，標志著海爾生物醫療設備走出了一條由技術創新、產品創新到標準制定的創品牌發展之路。

Haier Medical and Laboratory Products Co., Ltd. is a member division of Haier Group. It specializes in design, manufacturing, and marketing of a wide range of scientific products such as low temperature freezers for scientific application. The company has built a complete infrastructure to support a full effort for product research and development to satisfy the needs of the marketplace. Production capability for scientific products sustains an annual quantity of 1,000,000 units of various models.

Haier Medical has been growing steadily since 1998 when the Haier -40 degree C freezers were developed. Today, they have become the workhorse units in many scientific fields such as medical institutions. In 2001, Haier Medical was awarded an international bid of blood bank refrigerators for western China. To further support the manufacturing of these blood banks and other medical products, Haier Medical invested a new dedicated production line in the Haier (Huangdao) complex. The progressive advancement of the business resulted in a growing interest by the Chinese medical research community for Haier Medical Company and its products. Meanwhile, the demand for low temperature storage brought together a team of scientists to develop a new line of cryogenic freezers. The team members included experts in cryogenics, hygiene, epidemic prevention, medicine and engineers. Their effort led to an impressive accomplishment of a complete line including the already established +4+/-1 degree C blood banks, ultra-low temperature freezers, and -156 degree C cryogenic freezers. In 2004, Haier won another major international bid of HSCC/PUR/IMMU-III/3/2002 to supply ice-lined refrigerators to India which signaled the beginning of the Haier medical products to share the global markets. As the company continued to amass these successes, Haier also simultaneously established design institutes and manufacturing plants in the United States and Korea. The expansions have enhanced the company抯 ability to compete in the world scientific market with products such as incubators, ovens, water baths, purifying work tables, bio-safety cabinets, axenic work room, and vaccine cold storage.

Haier places its focus on becoming a professional supplier of temperature products with continuous development of modern ergonomic designs, a reliable service support network, and an efficient global network of logistics. The initiatives generated further financial return as the World Health Organization (WHO) recognized Haier’s accomplishments by authorizing the manufacturing of freezers for the WHO-7 program.
