Cancer care is undergoing a transformation towards personalized treatment. Foundation Medicine, launched by leaders in cancer genomics, cancer biology, clinical oncology and information sciences, is dedicated to helping bring this transformation into routine clinical practice. This information, coupled with the growing availability of targeted therapies, could lead to better outcomes for some patients and more efficient allocation of resources in healthcare delivery and drug development.
