世界醫(yī)學(xué)物理與生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程大會(huì) World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering  
2012年世界醫(yī)學(xué)物理與生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程大會(huì)（World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering）將于2012年5月26 - 31日在北京國(guó)際會(huì)議中心召開。大會(huì)由國(guó)際醫(yī)學(xué)物理與醫(yī)學(xué)工程聯(lián)合會(huì)（IUPESM）、國(guó)際醫(yī)學(xué)物理組織（IOMP）、國(guó)際醫(yī)學(xué)與生物工程聯(lián)合會(huì)（IFMBE）、中國(guó)生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程（CSBME）以及醫(yī)學(xué)物理分會(huì)（CSMP）共同主辦。大會(huì)主席由劉德培院士擔(dān)任，會(huì)議主題為“Promoting Health Through Technology”，學(xué)術(shù)交流將圍繞醫(yī)學(xué)物理與生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程領(lǐng)域的20個(gè)專題展開

世界醫(yī)學(xué)物理與生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程學(xué)術(shù)大會(huì)（World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, WC）是該領(lǐng)域同行學(xué)術(shù)交流的最重要世界級(jí)大會(huì)，每三年一次，堪稱這一領(lǐng)域的“奧林匹克”。從1954年至今的25次大會(huì)中，僅在亞洲的日本和韓國(guó)分別召開過三次。2012年的WC大會(huì)將是該會(huì)議首次在中國(guó)召開。該會(huì)議所涉及領(lǐng)域涵蓋了生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程、醫(yī)學(xué)物理的所有領(lǐng)域，包括醫(yī)學(xué)影像、腫瘤放射治療學(xué)、輻射防護(hù)、放射生物學(xué)、癌癥研究和治療中的新技術(shù)、醫(yī)學(xué)超聲、遠(yuǎn)程醫(yī)療、人工器官、生物醫(yī)用材料、生物力學(xué)、康復(fù)醫(yī)學(xué)與工程、神經(jīng)工程、生物醫(yī)學(xué)儀器、臨床工程等等。這些領(lǐng)域是現(xiàn)代和未來醫(yī)療模式中的技術(shù)熱點(diǎn)，很多領(lǐng)域基礎(chǔ)研究預(yù)示了未來醫(yī)療模式和手段的發(fā)展趨勢(shì)。

Ever since 1979, the World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering has been bringing together a growing number of professionals involved in basic research, R&D, industry and medical applications.

This is a triennial congress of the International Union of Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine (IUPESM), which is the peak organisation for the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) and the International Organisation for Medical Physics (IOMP).
